For Morvydd
*Morgan is in a bad mood after her conversation with her sister. And she's searching for her daughter. She's in too annoyed to go through the bother of actually looking for her, and so she calls out to her magically, directing her to come to the hidden, secluded part of the Mansion gardens where she stands now, dressed too extravagantly in black and silver.*

Morvydd of Gore: give me patience[info]morvydd on August 19th, 2007 01:07 am (UTC)
It's a while before Morvydd shows up, carrying a basket over her arm and looking pale and harassed. "Good day, mother."
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 19th, 2007 01:19 am (UTC)
*Morgan, for her part, skips the pleasentries* Good, you're here. I'd like your help with something. *and we know that never means anything good.*
Morvydd of Gore[info]morvydd on August 19th, 2007 01:22 am (UTC)
She puts the basket down on a bench. "What is it?"
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 19th, 2007 01:26 am (UTC)
*casually* Resurrecting your cousin.
Morvydd of Gore: you what?[info]morvydd on August 19th, 2007 01:38 am (UTC)
Her mind still on Gaheris, she just stares for a moment or two before it sinks in. "Oh. But there is no need."
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 19th, 2007 01:41 am (UTC)
I happen to disagree with that.
Morvydd of Gore: innocent[info]morvydd on August 19th, 2007 01:47 am (UTC)
"No, I mean he will come back of himself." Her hands move, trying to illustrate. "He is on the way now. Cannot you feel it?"
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 19th, 2007 01:50 am (UTC)
Yes, dear, I understand. But I don't trust the magic of this place. It is all too likely to bring him back with half his memory missing or some such thing. I'd prefer that we do it ourselves.
Morvydd of Gore: working[info]morvydd on August 19th, 2007 01:59 am (UTC)
"It will not." She sounds quite certain on this point. "There is a guard on him, he has been safe--"
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 19th, 2007 02:02 am (UTC)
*dismissively* We cannot be certain.
Morvydd of Gore[info]morvydd on August 19th, 2007 02:05 am (UTC)
"Have you looked?"
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 19th, 2007 02:13 am (UTC)
*plainly irritated* Yes, Morvydd.
Morvydd of Gore: overshadowed[info]morvydd on August 19th, 2007 02:23 am (UTC)
"Forgive me, mother," meekly. "But you told me such a thing should never be attempted lightly."
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 19th, 2007 02:25 am (UTC)
And, if you trusted me then, you should trust me now.
Morvydd of Gore: overshadowed[info]morvydd on August 19th, 2007 02:29 am (UTC)
Morvydd is very pale. "I do not like it."
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 19th, 2007 02:31 am (UTC)
*coldly* I didn't ask you to.
Morvydd of Gore: worried[info]morvydd on August 19th, 2007 02:37 am (UTC)
"But what is the need?"
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 19th, 2007 02:42 am (UTC)
Cautiousness.
Morvydd of Gore: give me patience[info]morvydd on August 19th, 2007 02:49 am (UTC)
"How is it cautious?" Morvydd rakes a hand through her hair. "You would reach into Death itself rather than wait for the magic to take its course. How is that cautious? We might do the very damage you are afraid of." She pauses, flushed. "Or is that why?"
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 19th, 2007 03:01 am (UTC)
*Morvydd's frustration actually calms Morgan somehow, and so her question doesn't hold any irritation* Is what why, dear?
Morvydd of Gore[info]morvydd on August 19th, 2007 03:04 am (UTC)
"To do damage." There is no accusation in her tone. Morvydd knows better than that.
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 19th, 2007 03:07 am (UTC)
*she laughs* To Mordred? Whyever would I want to do damage to Mordred?
Morvydd of Gore: overshadowed[info]morvydd on August 19th, 2007 03:11 am (UTC)
"There might be a reason, one day." Her dark eyes are clear and calm. "And the danger is more this way. You know it is, mother."
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 19th, 2007 03:18 am (UTC)
Sometimes, danger is worth it.
Morvydd of Gore[info]morvydd on August 19th, 2007 03:24 am (UTC)
"Not when there is no need."
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 19th, 2007 03:29 am (UTC)
There is need.
Morvydd of Gore: give me patience[info]morvydd on August 20th, 2007 03:39 am (UTC)
"What need? What need so great it cannot wait?"
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 20th, 2007 03:44 am (UTC)
The fact that to let the magic of this place bring him back is to submit ourselves to it, to let it be the higher power. If we cannot or do not do such things on our own, then we are inching towards powerlessness.

[Typist: Does Morgan have issues with authority figures? Oh, yes.]
Morvydd of Gore: give me patience[info]morvydd on August 20th, 2007 04:05 am (UTC)
Plaintive with desperation, "That is not a reason."
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 20th, 2007 04:10 am (UTC)
*cold* It is.
Morvydd of Gore: pain[info]morvydd on August 20th, 2007 04:11 am (UTC)
She turns away, one hand pressed tight against her mouth.
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 20th, 2007 04:16 am (UTC)
*a warning in her voice, perhaps* Morvydd...
Morvydd of Gore: overshadowed[info]morvydd on August 20th, 2007 04:23 am (UTC)
"I do not like it," very low.
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 20th, 2007 04:33 am (UTC)
You have told me so.
Morvydd of Gore: overshadowed[info]morvydd on August 20th, 2007 04:39 am (UTC)
She wipes a hand across her cheek. "I had rather save my strength to heal him. In the case that he has lost his memory, or worse."
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 22nd, 2007 12:18 am (UTC)
*irritated* This has always been your way; to do nothing but heal, and fix damage made by others. But there are times when one needs skills other than healing.
Morvydd of Gore[info]morvydd on August 22nd, 2007 02:46 am (UTC)
She clenches her hands in her skirts, and says nothing.
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 22nd, 2007 01:37 pm (UTC)
*hesitantly, she touches Morvydd's hair, in a vague attempt at a mothery gesture* Now, dear, don't take it as an insult.
Morvydd of Gore: pain[info]morvydd on August 22nd, 2007 07:14 pm (UTC)
"No, mother." Subdued.
Morgan le Fay[info]morgansorceress on August 22nd, 2007 08:20 pm (UTC)
*a smile* Good. *pause* Now, shall we begin?
Morvydd of Gore: pain[info]morvydd on August 25th, 2007 03:31 am (UTC)
The tension is still in her shoulders, but she says nothing, which Morgan can take as she will.
